Western Day: Boots On the Ground as we head toward the election

Looking ahead to the May election ...

America's rural "Western" culture has strong Black roots here in Georgia. See for example, the 150-years-old Berry family cattle farm in Tattnall County (https://www.berryfamilyfarms.com/) and the rural themes of Upson County's annual May 29th "Emancipation Day" festival (https://www.upsonemancipation.org/pages/emancipation-day).

Join us on May 16 as we celebrate this culture in an afternoon of camaraderie as we simultaneously raise funds to support the work of the NAACP Camden County Branch and energize ourselves to continue to put boots on the ground to mobilize voters on May 19 and on into the runoff elections that are likely to happen on June 16.

Note that the deadline to purchase tickets in advance for the "early bird" price is April 29.
