New Camden GA Black History Booklet to be Published for Juneteenth

The NAACP Camden County Branch is preparing the inaugural issue of an annual Camden Georgia Black History book that will be on sale for $25 at our Juneteenth Jubilee on June 15, 2024. There will be sections on our local Black schools and HBCU alumni, our families and churches, our first Black public officials, our Black veterans, Black Camden natives who went on to make names for themselves as athletes, actors, educators, scientists, and so on. A current directory of Black-owned businesses also will be included.

We invite you to support this celebration of our history by purchasing an ad in the book for yourself, your family, church, or business. Ad prices are as follows:

    $250    full page ad inside the front or back cover
    $150    other full page ad
      $75    1/2 page ad
      $40    1/4 page ad
      $25    business card
      $10    patron's list

You can also support the publication by purchasing one or more copies of the book in advance for the pre-order price of $20 ($25 after publication). Proceeds support NAACP Camden County Branch.
